Mariah Peelle Sotelino has been a lifelong naturalist, artist and a science enthusiast.
Mariah graduated from Swarthmore College with a degree in Biological Anthropology (Concentration in Environmental Studies) and has had various opportunities to study ecology in different continents and climates such as Costa Rica, Botswana, and California. It was this wanderlust that has fueled her curiosity for the intricate and exquisite beauty that only biodiversity can express. In Mariah’s former career she was a Pilates Instructor (for 20 + years) teaching wonderful humans about their capacity for movement as healing. Recently, she has pivoted to focus more on her artistic endeavors to bring the joy of nature and education of science to new audiences.
